Sometimes we just need some quick, simple instructions to tell us to get in gear and move. Say hello to the Weekly Workout Plan!

Nothing fancy, just follow the instructions, do as it says and work as hard as you can. Once you have finished, feel free to crack on with the rest of your day and enjoy!

So here goes….

Weekly Workout Plan


Make sure you are safe doing these workouts. We have workouts aimed at various ability levels, so if you find one too difficult to do properly, swap it to an easier one.

What is it good for?

Strength and fitness.

Equipment needed

A park/pitch, set of cones, a stopwatch.




Because it’s still summer, may as well play outdoors as much as we can! so another park based session for you here.

Set out cones x20 strides apart and keep your stopwatch handy.

Round 1

  • Time how long it takes to do a single shuttle run between the cones (there and back again).
  • Rest for an equal time.
  • Perform exercise #1 for an equal time.
  • Rest for an equal time.
  • Repeat all the above for all the remaining exercises.

Round 2

Repeat Round 1, but do x2 shuttle runs between the cones (there and back again, twice).

Round 3

Repeat Round 1, but do x3 shuttle runs between the cones (there and back again, three times).
