Pressups are an amazing exercise. They work your core, your upper body and they can be done pretty much anywhere. But for beginners, they can be hard work. And what is worse, often, when I’ve talked to people about doing them, they respond with something like:
“Oh no, I can’t do them! I’m not going to do them…”
And I think that is a major reason why many people find pressups hard…because they talk themselves out of doing them before they have even tried.
So while you are bored, why not try this simple pressup progression. Follow these progressively harder steps until you can do a full pressup on the floor.
