Get Moving for Rehabilitation

“Exercise is a medicine…so get your prescription here…”

Who is it for?

Aimed specifically at people living with limited mobility, including:

  • Stroke survivors
  • People living with neurological conditions such as MS, Parkinson’s etc
  • Wheelchair users
  • People with chronic medical conditions
  • People needing physical rehabilitation

When and where

  • Mondays, 12:45pm-1:45pm – Ilkley Lawn Tennis Club, Stourton Rd, Ilkley LS29 9BG (click here for map)
  • Fridays, 11-12pm – The Scout Hut, Dyneley House Surgery, Newmarket Street, Skipton, BD23 2HZ (click here for map)

How to join

  • Complete the health questionnaire in the yellow section belowbefore your first session only
  • Reserve your place in the session using the link in the yellow section below. You will be sent a confirmation email, so if you don’t see one, check your Spam/Junk folder.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing
  • Bring a drink with you
  • Arrive 5-10 minutes early
  • Get stuck in with the others and enjoy!

Cost

Fully funded for 6 weeks (yes, that means you don’t pay a penny) for patients referred from Airedale, Craven and Wharfedale GP practices.
£8 payable on the door otherwise.
