“Sometimes the hardest part is knowing where to begin”
Fresh Start is personal, one to one coaching for people who need a little more support before they’re ready to take on the world.
Group programmes work brilliantly for a lot of people. But not everyone is ready to walk into a room full of strangers on day one, and not everyone’s situation fits neatly into a standard programme. If that sounds familiar, Fresh Start was designed with you in mind.
Up to six sessions of one to one coaching, built entirely around you, your health, your challenges, and your pace.
Who it’s for
Fresh Start could be exactly what you need if:
- You’ve tried to make changes before but struggled to make them stick
- The idea of a group programme feels a step too far right now
- Your health picture involves both physical and mental wellbeing, and you need support with both
- You have specific challenges that need addressing before you can move forward confidently
- You just need someone in your corner, properly listening, before you take the next step
What it involves
- Tell us about yourself. Fill in our short form and we’ll get back to you to have an initial conversation about whether Fresh Start is the right fit.
- We build your programme together. Your first session is all about you. We listen, we ask questions, and we work out what your coaching sessions should focus on.
- Up to six sessions, at your pace. We meet regularly, in person or online, and work through your goals one step at a time. No rushing, no pressure, no one-size-fits-all advice.
Who delivers it
Fresh Start sessions are delivered by Anna Sheryn and Cerin Rees, both experienced health coaches with backgrounds spanning physical health, mental wellbeing, menopause support, and exercise for people with medical and mobility conditions.

“Anna was so thoughtful and positive. Her deep listening and careful analysis of possible ways through my difficulties was really motivating. Her suggestions were practical and simple and worked.”
Hannah, Fresh Start client
“I have learned that better is better, and that it’s ok to sometimes get things wrong. My other surprise is how surprised I am at how much I enjoy the exercise classes and how much I can do!”
Sally, Fresh Start and Live Better client

Frequently asked questions
Is this suitable if I have a long term health condition?
Yes. Both Cerin and Anna have extensive experience working with people with chronic medical conditions, mobility issues, and mental health challenges. Fresh Start is designed to flex around your situation, not the other way around.
What’s the difference between Fresh Start and Live Better?
Live Better is a 13-week group programme. Fresh Start is up to six sessions of personal, one to one support. Some people do Fresh Start first and then move on to Live Better feeling ready and confident. Others find that their sessions are exactly what they needed.
Can I do sessions online?
Yes. Fresh Start is available in person in Skipton, or via phone or online video call, whichever works best for you.
What happens after my sessions?
That depends entirely on where you’ve got to. Some people are ready to join a group programme. Some continue with further one to one support. Some simply carry on with the habits they’ve built. We’ll talk through your options as you approach the end of your programme.
