Nothing fancy, just follow the instructions, do as it says and work as hard as you can. Once you have finished, feel free to crack on with the rest of your day and enjoy!

Band squat

What's it for?

Strengthening glutes and legs.

Top tips

  • Loop the resistance band around your shoulders. Avoid looping it around the neck.
  • Stand securely on the resistance band. Make sure it can't ping up into your face!
  • Perform a normal squat:
    • Sit the bum back and down
    • Keep the feet flat
    • Keep the back flat

Seated band row

What's it for?

Strengthens the upper back.

Top tips

  • Sit tall on the floor and loop the resistance band securely around your feet. Make sure it doesn't slip and twang you in the face!
  • Hold onto the ends of the resistance band, sit tall and stretch the bands back.
  • Pinch your shoulder blades back together.
  • Return to the start under control.

Band hip abduction

What's it for?

Strengthening glutes.

Top tips

  • Loop the resistance band around your legs, just below the knees.
  • Keep your feet about shoulder width apart and try to keep them flat.
  • Under control, push the knees apart and stretch the band.

What's it for?

Strengthening your biceps/arms.

Top tips

  • Stand securely on the resistance band. Don't let it ping up into your face!
  • Hold the band with your palms facing up.
  • Bend your elbows until they are fully bent before returning under control to your thighs.
